I left school at 16 in 1983 and started an apprenticeship with a computer consultancy in Rotherham. After 12 months I became the companies sole computer cabling engineer travelling the whole of the UK installing computer networks into doctors surgeries and other NHS buildings.
The company was eventually bought out and I decided to move over to contract work. By 1987 I found myself well established and contracting to both BT and Cable & Wireless (became TeleWest, became NTL now Virgin). My work was always at residential level installing telephone extensions and carrying out repairs, later on installing Broadband Routers and Digital TV for NTL.
I now run my own company providing all the services I have been accredited with over the years. This suites me as I can commit to an unwavering customer 1st attitude, also giving my time to family and my personal hobby of kitesurfing.
